If you cannot get to our agency located in the center of Papeete, we offer a shuttle service that transports you from Faa'a airport to our agency. 

We also offer this shuttle service to and from the Papeete ferry dock.

In case of arrival or departure outside the opening hours of the agency, you can contact us via the online form indicating the desired times. We will come back to you to organize the delivery/return of the keys as well as possible.

We accept several payment methods:

We ask for a deposit of 60,000 Pacific francs (500$) per credit card imprint when the keys are handed over. This amount is not debited from the bank account and is returned in full at the end of the rental if no damage has been noted on the vehicle or no responsible accident with third party occured 

According to our company policy, the minimum rental period is 2 days. 

The maximum rental period is 6 consecutive months.

For any car rental in Tahiti, the driver must be at least 25 years old and have held a valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.

For 50cc scooters, the driver must be born before the year 2000.

Upon booking, you will receive an email with all the rental information. A final confirmation will follow within 48 hours with information concerning the payment of the deposit allowing you to definitively validate your booking.

Yes, cancellation is free of charge up to 48 hours before the start of the rental. You can also upgrade or modify your booking, subject to availability. This policy follows the common requirement used by major car rental companies in the country. While conditions may vary by location or by class of vehicle — economy, intermediate, luxury, or van — Pacifica offers more flexible terms for all available cars at our airport rental agency. Whether you booked through our website, or directly by phone with us, you can cancel without any fee as long as you respect the time of rental limit.

Yes, each client benefits from free cancellation up to 48 hours before the start of the scooter or car rental in Tahiti.

Yes, subject to availability. All you have to do is contact us as soon as possible.

In order to pick up the vehicle, you must come to the agency with this list of documents: 

• an ID 
• the original of your driver's license.
• proof of address less than 3 months old

We provide baby seats (size suitable for children aged 12 months to 3 years) at no extra cost, subject to availability at the time of booking.

We offer comprehensive insurance for Tahiti and Moorea. This includes liability insurance, fire, theft, etc.

In the event of an accident, the amount of the deductible is between 60,000 and 200,000 Pacific francs, depending on the severity of the damage observed on the vehicle. 

Apart from a few more congested time slots at the beginning and end of the day near Papeete, traffic is generally fluid in Tahiti. 

Driving around on a scooter is very pleasant thanks to the temperature which rarely drops below 20°C. Be careful however, traffic can be a little more difficult locally and occasionally during the rainy season (December to March).

Yes, the Highway Code is strictly the same as in France.

The speed is limited to 90 km/h on all roads on the island, except in built-up areas where it drops to 50 km/h.

All our vehicles can circulate on the island of Moorea.You just have to take one of the ferries that go there several times a day.

It is possible to travel with all types of vehicles in Tahiti and Moorea. The roads are well maintained. Note that many Tahitians travel in 4×4 and pick-ups.

No, vehicle cleaning is included in your rental. You will be charged 20€ for washing costs at the time of your reservation. However, we ask you to empty the vehicle and not to leave any empty packaging when returning it.
